Assistance Dogs Australia is excited to participate in Sydney Build 2024 once again!

ADA is a national charity that enhances inclusion and independence for Australians with disabilities by partnering them with specially trained, accredited Assistance Dogs. Our mostly free-to-client Assistance Dogs enable greater participation and improved health and wellbeing, helping to build inclusive, diverse and resilient communities.

ADA’s programs currently support people with physical disabilities, veterans and first responders with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and children and young adults with autism. These core programs incorporate additional community engagement initiatives, such as education support, animal assisted therapy, courthouse dogs and our Pups in Prisons program.

ADA is excited to host an exclusive presentation of our new National Training Centre development in Western Sydney, scheduled for completion in Mid-April 2024. This essential infrastructure project will allow ADA to significantly increase capacity and provide more extraordinary dogs to more extraordinary people.

Come visit our team and learn more about our current work, meet a cute Ambassador dog and learn how you can support ADA on its mission to support more clients in need and their communities, though the transformational impact of our assistance dogs.
