Nelson Arias-Alvarez is a Principal and Managing Partner at PCL Lawyers, a National commercial law firm. Nelson practices in front end and back-end construction law, insolvency, and commercial litigation.  Nelson has lectured at Western Sydney University on a range of subjects at undergraduate and Masters Level, including managing risk in construction, alternative dispute resolution, commercial law, property law, and equity and trusts. With extensive experience representing stakeholders across the construction sector and through the whole of the project lifecycle, Nelson has particular expertise in advising on project delivery disputes, acting for 2nd tier and 3rd tier builders and tier 1 subcontractors on civil and infrastructure projects. Nelson has a particular interest in contract administration, risk management, and dispute avoidance and resolution.
