Nick Seemann
Managing Director,
Constructive Dialogue Architects
Nick is Managing Director of Constructive Dialogue Architects which he formed in 2000 with a particular focus on community-facing projects. For much of the past decade Constructive Dialogue has been engaged by Walgett Aboriginal Medical Service Limited on many varied projects including new community buildings, upgrades to clinical services and modular staff housing in regional and remote settings. These projects commonly involve use of grant funding from State or Federal agencies and require adherence to budgets, timeframes, and grant reporting. The most recent project is a Pavilion for exhibitions and cultural activities at Freedom Ride Memorial Park, established to commemorate the 1965 Freedom Ride. This project honours the contribution of local community towards the Aboriginal Rights movement and seeks to educate and inspire. Relationship with community, understanding of cultural drivers and the challenges of remoteness are major themes in Nick's work in Walgett.
