Phil is a seasoned project and business leader with over 30 years of experience in design and project delivery across defence, transport, and aviation projects. He has led large project delivery teams in both the UK, Middle East and Australia, and has been responsible for targeted campaigns to build capability within Mott MacDonald but also forming global teams to meet Australia’s infrastructure boom.  Phil is typically responsible for all client leadership, pursuit planning, commercial strategy, and project performance and governance, including operating margin improvement plans and contract extensions. 

He has driven and exceeded strategic growth targets and built trusted relationships across the defence client base, securing significant growth in new and existing contracted work. He has led the delivery of the outward facing, client-centric growth strategy that has seen improve engagement scores and market profile.
