Mental Health in Construction Ambassador Statement: Having come from a construction background I have learnt that talking about mental health in the industry is needed and important because the job can be tough. We work long hours we work hard and there is a lot of stress on top of it all we have this stigma that showing any sort of weakness is bad, we must endeavour to make mental health a subject we can talk about without fear of being judged, of appearing weak or of losing your job.

Sustainability in Construction Ambassador Statement: Driving sustainability and change in the construction industry is critically important for several reasons, both environmental and economic, as well as social.. As part of an industry that is important to our future we need to take accountability for our carbon footprint, we are responsible for over 1/3 of global emissions and must strive to find sustainable ways to contribute to the future of our environment without impacting our jobs or the lives of the people in our industry. Sourcing construction materials which are renewable, finding new way more environmental ways to produce necessary material should be a goal for Everyone in our industry.
