Christian Keel is a leader in the sustainability sector with proven experience developing innovative solutions to national-scale sustainability challenges. As a Principal Sustainability Consultant at Edge, his role spans the circular economy and waste & resource recovery practice area, and he brings a commercial lens to material flow analysis and waste and resource recovery.​ Christian has a wealth of experience leading projects at the intersection of the public and private sector including precinct and energy infrastructure development, behaviour change campaigns and policy development. Christian has a passion for projects that deliver best practice sustainability outcomes and generate reasonable returns. Prior to Edge, Christian led Beyond Zero Emission’s (BZE) ‘Million Jobs Plan’ - Commonwealth Projects, which involved the identification >600 high-value sustainability projects across Australia and the selection and business case development of the 16 most suitable projects to be submitted to Treasury with multiple projects receiving financial or policy support in the budget.
