ChrofiLogoDijana is a skilled architect with over 20 years’ experience leading a range of project types and scales from innovative engineered timber buildings, commercial, integrated transport/commercial developments and education projects, to high-end residential homes and small-scale alterations and additions. She joined CHROFI in 2020 and is currently leading larger scale projects in the practice.

Dijana has worked with both public and private clients and has a proven record of delivering technically complex and challenging projects with creative design solutions. She is skilled at effectively leading teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Prior to joining CHROFI she was Associate Director at Tzannes and was with the practice for 18 years. She was project architect on International House, Sydney’s breakthrough first commercial timber building in Barangaroo, Tzannes’ most acclaimed project and recipient of over 20 industry awards. She was also in charge of Daramu House, the recently completed sister building of International House and led her team in the development of the 28-storey commercial tower of the southern Metro Martin Place integrated development. She was also project architect on several high-end waterfront homes.

Dijana has delivered a number of public talks including on the topic of mass engineered timber, as well as for Parlour, Australia’s leading research body on gender equity in architecture. She has tutored Design Studio at the Sydney University School of Architecture and the Master’s Graduation Studio at UNSW sharing her passion for the transformative power of good design with the next generation of architects.
