Harland started his career in construction industry in 1990, where he developed a solid understanding and passion for construction innovation, design, engineering and architectural. In 1995 as co-founder of a family owned and run masonry alteration service company, that grew to include concrete recycling, precast, commercial property and building development. In more recent times Harland has been instrumental in timber and composite product and system designs. With this breadth of experience, he is passionate about helping building industry to conform current building standards, regulations, climate, safety and environmental.  

Harland currently serves as Head of Commercial at Intex Group International. Intex commenced “inspiring the drywall community” in 1989, and today is well known as the go to company for innovative, cost-effective solutions for all lightweight walls and ceiling systems, providing certainty for property owners and developers in the government, public and private sectors across the globe.
