Biography:

 Heimy is currently a Graduate Civil Engineer at Gamuda after graduating first class honours at WSU. Heimy is an active advocate for Women in STEM as featured in articles (both written and electronic), podcasts, websites, and as she is invited to schools where she encourages the youth to break boundaries. Aside from this, Heimy is a consistent achiever being the Vice Chancellor Awardee, Women in STEM Champion, and Emerging Designer of the Year. Moreso, Heimy is currently an executive member of Young Engineers Australia and Women in Nuclear Australia, where she also actively promotes gender inclusivity and equality. Heimy believes that breaking boundaries start from within.  

Statement:

Having women in construction is definitely more than fulfilling a quota or a target — our presence in this field promotes equality, inclusivity and it exhibits progression in the future of industry.
