John Hainsworth has 30 years of experience gained in engineering and the application of digital technologies in the built world.

Founded on expertise gained in the manufacturing supply chain, he has spent the last 20 years specialising in digital engineering and building information modelling, shaping teams, and delivering iconic projects across world.

In recent years, he's pragmatically melded the internet of things with spatial intelligence onto connected construction sites. Prior to that, he led a digital transformation across a global engineering practice whilst supporting clients, teams and projects across 17 offices in 9 countries, and today, he's applying this expertise to clients of Mott MacDonald as their Smart Infrastructure Leader based in Sydney.
