Kenny is a Chartered Engineer (CPEng) and a Fellow of Engineers Australia with over 19 years of experience in the design and verification of bridges, earth retaining structures and other civil structures. He possesses strong technical skills and an in-depth understanding of constructability requirements. These attributes together with a strong commitment to delivering the best possible engineering solutions to the clients have enabled him to achieve innovative and cost-effective design solutions on projects.

Kenny has led teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects with a strong focus on bridges and structures discipline. He also has demonstrated experience in strategy, team building and management and tendering.

Kenny is the current Manager – Structures ANZ for SMEC Australia, responsible for leading a team of over 110 bridge design professionals and specialists. He is also a Roads Australia Fellow having graduated from the Program in 2018.
