Mark Raggatt is a Director at ARM Architecture and leads the firm’s Sydney studio. He heads architecture and masterplanning teams, and is highly skilled in developing design concepts and design theory. He has extensive experience in computer-aided design, all aspects of client and stakeholder liaison, and project delivery.

He played a key role on the RMIT University Green Brain, where he devised concept designs for the interiors and the landmark facade. Other projects he’s worked on include the Sydney College of the Arts, Home of the Arts Masterplan, Elizabeth Quay Masterplan, and the Blacktown International Centre for Training Excellence.

Mark is particularly interested in urban design: in how buildings connect with and catalyse their surrounds, especially in Sydney’s evolving neighbourhoods. He regularly speaks and teaches at universities on design and urbanism around Australia and overseas, and has taught in the Masters of Architecture programs at RMIT University and the University of Technology Sydney.
