Nadine Samaha

Senior Principal Architect, level-ak

Level-akNadine Samaha is an environmental and social sustainability advocate, architect practitioner, and academic. She is a senior principal architect at LEVEL architekture>konstrukt ( level-ak), a practice she established 29 years ago with her partner to fulfill the need for a comprehensive interdisciplinary service, where design and construction intertwine. Nadine incorporates biophilic, ecological, and regenerative design principles in her projects to create spaces and forms that seamlessly connect within the natural context, promote well-being and support positive emotional energy. The practice's construction continuum allows her to push the boundaries in construction techniques and explore new methodologies to tread lightly on the Earth.  She is an Environmental Sustainable Design lecturer, a Ph.D. candidate at RMIT University, and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design LEED green associate. She is currently a Chapter Councillor at the Australian Institute of Architects AIA and the Chairman of the Sustainability Architecture Forum SAF@AIA.
