Nicholas is currently the Executive General Manager of Development for MTR Australia, leading all new business in the region. This includes finalisation of the Augmentation of Sydney Metro City and Southwest and new the new Sydney Metro Greater West and Metro West Opportunities. Nicholas also sits on executive committees for Metro Trains Melbourne and Metro Trains Sydney, of which MTR is the major shareholder. Prior to joining MTR Nicholas spent seven and a half years as the Director of Development at Acciona Infrastructure for Australia , New Zealand and Southeast Asia. Nicholas is a Civil Engineer with 20 years of experience in the development and delivery of major infrastructure projects in Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and North America. Nicholas’s major project experience includes; Sydney Metro, Sydney Light Rail, Cross River Rail, Melbourne Metro, Toowoomba Second Range Crossing, Puhoi to Warkworth (NZ), Westconex, Kwinana Waste to Energy  (WA), Cross City Tunnel, Port Man Highway 1 (Vancouver Canada) and Cebu Cordova Bridge in the Philippines.
