Rana Abbas
Rana received her B.Sc. degree from the University of Balamand, Lebanon, in 2012, the M.E. degree from The University of Sydney, Australia, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree from The University of Sydney, Australia, in 2018, all in electrical engineering. She is also currently the Research and Industry Liaison Officer of the Centre of IoT and Telecommunications, at The University of Sydney. Her main role at the university is improving the Centre’s research impact through industry engagement. She is the recipient of the Australian Postgraduate Awards Scholarship and the Norman 1 Price scholarship from the Center of Excellence in Telecommunications, School of Electrical and Information Engineering, The University of Sydney. She is also the winner of the Best Paper Award at the IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor, Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC), 2018, Montreal, Canada.
