With a background in product stewardship, natural resource and environmental management, Rose thrives on delivering practical sustainability solutions in collaboration with industry, government and the community. Her extensive work in electronics product stewardship resulted in the successful development, implementation and government accreditation of MobileMuster – Australia’s leading mobile phone recycling program. Rose also headed-up an approved co-regulatory arrangement under the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme. Prior to this she was General Manager of Clean Up Australia and Clean Up the World. Rose was also the Chair of the Queensland Government’s Battery industry Working group for battery recycling that established the Battery Stewardship Council. Rose was also part time CEO of the National Waste and Recycling Industry Council from 2018 to 2022. She currently holds the title of Adjunct Professor with the Institute for Sustainable Futures at UTS, and is director and co-founder of the Ewaste Watch Institute.
