Thomas Mitchell has occupied various executive, consulting and operational roles delivering innovative environment, health and safety (EHS) management services.  His career experience has been gained progressing through direct employment with ASX 50 APAC companies and Fortune 500 global organisations in the mining, architectural / engineering / construction, and manufacturing sectors.  His applied EHS management and compliance experience is capped by occupational hygiene and EHS Management System lecturing and research roles at Federation University (Victorian Institute of Occupational Safety and Health).  His subject matter specialities include Safety Engineering, Health & Safety in Design, WHS using BIM, Nanotechnology, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, Risk Management, Compliance Auditing, Management Systems, Training and Education.

Thomas has worked across all business and industry sectors and has provided consultancy, training and auditing services for industry, trade unions, and government inspectorates. He has also undertaken OHS research projects for the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission, Coal Industry Research Program, Mining and Quarrying Association and WorkCover equivalent programs in NSW, VIC and SA. 

More recently Thomas Mitchell has delivered numerous and varied consulting projects for the Department of Defence, state and commonwealth government and multinational private sector enterprises.
