Xavier has more than seven years of international experience as an architect and Landscape architect. He has worked on a broad range of projects in Barcelona, Norway, Switzerland, and Australia, as an Architect and Landscape Architect. In his final Master Thesis, Xavier explored rethinking old parts of the city which need to be re-envisioned and segregated areas that need to be more in touch with urban life. Xavier's experience of studying and working abroad has given him a greater understanding of international cultures and traditions and a better appreciation of his own culture. His design and mediation skills have been successfully applied to many projects that bring communities, authorities, and developers together. His expertise lies in leading and managing the design of large-scale, complex projects from concept to the resolution of the finest details and then overseeing their construction and contract administration on site. He is combining his actual role as Senior Landscape architect in McGregor Coxall with tutoring architecture students at UTS and USyd. His interdisciplinary knowledge brings the possibility to engage architecture, structure and landscape architect disciplines to come together, a clear example is the future Parramatta Aquatic Leisure Centre, in which he has been heavily involved from the competition stage until its construction phase. Xavier continues to pursue a progressive, restorative and engaging outcome for a better world.
