Alex founded his practice, Alexander Symes Architect, in 2014 with a mission to advance sustainable architecture. In his design practice he draws on his technical expertise in building physics and facade systems to design high performing, durable buildings for the future climate. He has hands-on experience with construction and design for manufacturing and assembly and has specialist training in the design and delivery of passive houses. Alex combines his background and passion for design to challenge the status quo of sustainable design.
