I am Aman Brar, an Environment and Sustainability Business Partner with John Holland/D4C, with more than 15 years’ experience across major infrastructure, water, transport and resource recovery projects in NSW. My background includes environmental planning, planning approvals, sustainability integration and regulatory compliance for complex projects, including Sydney Metro, WaterNSW and major State Significant Infrastructure projects.

Throughout my career, I have worked closely with project teams to embed sustainability into the full project lifecycle — from planning and design through to construction and operation. I am particularly interested in how the construction industry can move beyond compliance and play a stronger leadership role in reducing environmental impacts, improving resource efficiency and delivering long-term outcomes for communities.
