"The construction industry is at a critical turning point where driving systemic change and true equality is essential for fostering a sustainable, resilient workforce. By prioritizing mental health and robust mentorship, we can dismantle the high-pressure "toughness" culture that often leads to burnout, replacing it with a foundation of mutual respect and shared success. In my career I have seen firsthand how the fast-paced demands can impact team well-being. I believe that true leadership involves guiding teams to thrive through collaborative mentorship by focusing on clear communication and monitoring results without micro-management. This shift toward a more empathetic, collaborative leadership style is the vital "change" our industry must incorporate to ensure long-term success and employee health."
