Bandula is a Chartered Professional Engineer with over 19 years’ experience in design consultancy, design management, project management and technical review roles across multiple geographies on educational, art and culture, healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial, residential and commercial projects.  Bandula has gained broad exposure and expertise in building services engineering in Australia, USA and Sri Lanka. She is currently working at Arup Sydney as an Associate and Building Services Electrical Technical leader.   

Bandula is passionate to deliver emerging sustainability strategies for new and existing buildings and focusing on sustainable outcomes, decarbonisation and electrification. Her extensive technical skills include electrification of buildings, whole of life carbon approaches, climate resilience, energy and sustainability masterplans and building services electrical design.
