Ben Crough (He/Him) is the Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Manager at John Holland, where he leads the development, implementation and monitoring of the organisation’s Inclusion Strategy across a complex, national construction, rail and infrastructure organisation. Based in Melbourne/Naarm, Ben works closely with senior leaders and project teams to embed inclusive ways of working that improve employee experience, safety, and performance, with a strong focus on flexibility, gender equality, LGBTQ+ inclusion and reconciliation. By virtue of leading this Inclusion Strategy Ben manages John Hollands involvement in programs including WGEA Employer of Choice, Australian Workplace Equality Index, Construction Industry Culture Standard and its Reconciliation Action Plan. Ben brings experience from healthcare and financial services, and earlier in his career worked as a pharmacist in remote Western Australia—shaping his strong commitment to equity, access and creating workplaces where people can bring their authentic selves to work.
