Ben Norris is an experienced Urban Design practitioner and public realm strategist, passionate about shaping diverse, inclusive, and sustainable places. With over a decade of experience across public and private sectors, Ben has helped deliver transformative urban strategies and masterplans in Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and the UK. He has worked on regional strategies, frameworks, and masterplans for communities, precincts, and town centres - bringing a holistic approach to urban design. Ben’s work has been recognised through academic awards and professional accolades, reflecting his ability to bridge Urban Strategy-Design, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, and Art. Currently at Nguluway DesignInc, Ben champions Designing from Country – respectfully embedding cultural narratives and ecological principles into contemporary urban environments. He is driven by curiosity about the forces shaping our cities, and a belief in creativity as a powerful tool for solving complex urban challenges.
