Carmen Mullenger - Breast Cancer Network Australia

Carmen Mullenger

Community Events and Fundraising Manager, Breast Cancer Network Australia

Carmen Mullenger leads the Community events and fundraising team at Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). BCNA works to support, inform, connect and represent all Australians affected by breast cancer.

Representatives from the BCNA team will be at Sydney Build promoting the BCNA Pink Tradie program and how organisations can get involved. There will be free sign-ups and giveaways at the BCNA stand, and the team can chat with you about hosting a BCNA Pink Tradie fundraising event, purchasing or ordering campaign merchandise for staff, clients and about retailing opportunities. The BCNA Pink Tradie campaign is designed to help to start a conversation about breast cancer in the workplace, create awareness around the importance of self-checks, early detection and how to access BCNA’s free support and information for your staff, suppliers and clients.

There are more than 20,000 women and over 200 men each year diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia and another 21,000 are currently living with metastatic (secondary / incurable) breast cancer. Getting involved in BCNA Pink Tradie not only shows support for those in your workplace and network, but helps to raise important funds to ensure Australians can access the best information, treatment and support for their needs when faced with a breast cancer diagnosis.
