Driving sustainability in construction is a critical issue that must be addressed, especially as the majority of people today live in cities. Urban growth places immense pressure on certain areas, leading to challenges such as increased waste, higher carbon emissions, and other factors that accelerate climate change. As a result, cities become more vulnerable to climate-related risks. This makes it essential to highlight the importance of sustainable building practices and services. By promoting construction methods that minimise environmental impact and encouraging people to adopt more sustainable lifestyles, we can significantly reduce our collective footprint and build cities that are resilient.
