Chris has spent nearly two decades in the building industry, mastering every aspect of construction—from hands-on carpentry to high-level project management and consulting. His journey began early, building his family home alongside his father. That experience ignited a lifelong passion for craftsmanship, leading him to earn multiple qualifications, including a Builder’s License, an Advanced Diploma in Building, and certifications in Carpentry, Building, and Construction Management.

Chris is known for his holistic, forward-thinking approach. His ability to visualise the finished product and reverse-engineer the most efficient process sets him apart. Over the years, his attention to detail and problem-solving skills have led him to work on prestigious builds, with features on Australia by Design.

Recognising the urgent need for sustainable, yet cost-effective solutions, Chris co-founded Otetto and Living Canvas, where he helped develop a revolutionary hemp SIPs panel. His mission is clear: bridge the gap between sustainability and affordability, making eco-friendly construction a practical reality for builders and homeowners alike.

With an unwavering commitment to reducing the environmental impact of the construction industry, Chris believes hemp-based building solutions can reshape the future of sustainable construction.
