Chris Pracy
Chris Pracy is the National Training Manager at ACCIONA Infrastructure, helping project teams across Australia and New Zealand build the skills they need to deliver major infrastructure and renewable energy projects. With decades of experience in the civil construction and VET sectors, Chris focuses on practical workforce capability—making sure people have the right skills, the right support, and the confidence to do their jobs safely and effectively.
A civil engineer and workforce strategist, Chris has led large-scale training and competency initiatives across transport, tunnelling, rail, and transmission projects, driving apprenticeships, accredited training, and workforce planning programs that meet regulatory requirements, support social procurement outcomes, and build sustainable, future-ready capability across Australia’s evolving infrastructure and construction workforce.
With senior leadership experience across ACCIONA and TAFE NSW, Chris works at the intersection of industry and education to design innovative, evidence-based training programs, strengthen industry partnerships, and shape skills pathways that respond to workforce shortages, technological change, and the future capability needs of the construction industry.
