Daniel Fernandes is an accomplished sustainability leader with over a decade of experience delivering environmental and social sustainability outcomes across landmark buildings and major infrastructure projects. As Senior Sustainability Advisor, Daniel specialises in implementing practical, future‑focused sustainability strategies at Sydney Water’s North West Treatment Hub, helping deliver measurable improvements in performance, resilience and community outcomes.

Daniel excels at guiding multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders toward shared goals, combining clear strategy, strong collaboration and a solutions‑focused mindset to navigate the complexities of major construction environments. His work centres on uncovering real-world lessons and success stories that demonstrate how sustainability can be embedded meaningfully and effectively.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Architectural Science, blending technical insight with design‑led thinking. Daniel is also a Green Star Accredited Professional and Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional, enabling him to support projects in achieving leading industry sustainability benchmarks across the built environment.
