Dr. Beta Paramita is an Associate Professor of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Her interest in research includes sustainable city and green building, especially on building performance and outdoor thermal comfort. Currently she is board member of IBPSA-ID (International Building Performance Simulation Association - Indonesia chapter). Active in RDI (Research Resilience Initiative) focuses on community, environmental change and sustainable development. She is also an experienced communications professional with a strong background in international development, advocacy, and strategic partnerships. With over 15 years in the field, she has worked with leading global institutions including UNICEF, UNDP, and USAID, driving public campaigns on health, education, climate, and gender issues. Her expertise lies in combining policy, storytelling, and media strategy to create meaningful impact. In 2025 she was awarded Energy Heroes Innovator Category for Asia-Pasific Region by Seforall.
