Reza is a technology, energy, and infrastructure leader with over 25 years of experience across design, delivery, technical advisory, and innovation. He currently serves as Associate Director of Technology & Infrastructure at WSP, where he focuses on integrating energy systems, transport, emerging technologies and ICT to deliver future-ready infrastructure solutions. He has played key roles in large-scale complex system integration projects across transport and infrastructure sectors.

Reza holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and began his research career in smart grids and agent-based AI as early as 2008, later expanding into electric vehicles, charging infrastructure and renewable energies. He has authored 38 peer-reviewed publications and holds three inventions.

Reza is recognised for challenging conventional thinking—shifting the focus from deploying technology to unlocking its real value. Working toward a new paradigm where buildings, transport, and energy systems evolve from passive assets into intelligent, responsive, and value-generating platforms that deliver measurable benefits.
