Dr. Ripon K. Chakrabortty

Dr. Ripon K. Chakrabortty is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Systems & Computing, UNSW Canberra, Australia. He is experienced in “Artificial Intelligence in Decision-Making for Complex Systems.” His research interests include decision analytics, applied artificial intelligence, evolutionary computation, and applied optimization in the fields of "Project Scheduling and Supply Chain Management." He is the founder and team leader of ‘The Decision Support & Analytics Research Group’, inaugural Co-Director of the Resilient Intelligent Systems for clean Energy Research (RISER) Hub, and also leads the ‘Artificial Intelligence’ Community of Practice at the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM). He is also a Certified Practicing Project Director (CPPD) endorsed by the AIPM. He has authored three books, contributed to six book chapters, and published over 220 technical journal and conference papers in prestigious venues, with Google Scholar Citations exceeding 11,200. Numerous organizations have funded his research programs, totaling over $15 million, including the Australian Research Council, the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade, the Department of Education, Defence Trailblazer, and the Commonwealth Government of Australia.
