Elsie Wang is a Certified Passivhaus Consultant with a background in structural engineering and architecture, having a vast appreciation for designs that blend technical and creative. Based in Sydney, Australia she currently works as a consultant on Passivhaus and high-performance homes where she leverages Passivhaus methodology and advanced thermal modelling (PHPP software) to optimise energy efficiency through iterative design.

Elsie works on projects across Australia going for Passivhaus certification in NSW, VIC, SA, and QLD. She bridges technical rigour and creative vision, translating complex building physics data into intuitive, actionable insights. Knowing numbers and calculations aren’t for everyone, she enjoys teaching Passivhaus in a way that’s intuitive and visual.
