Eric is an building services engineer with a passion for energy efficiency, circular economy and decarbonisation of existing buildings. As Arup’s Existing Building Retrofit Sydney leader, Eric focuses on harnessing Arup’s expertise across all disciplines to improve existing assets in the built environment. Over the past 22 years, Eric has been involved in upgrading commercial and retail assets including, commercial office ft outs, controls system, mechanical services, lighting, electrical infrastructure and working closely with all REITS property trusts to reposition “older” assets.

He has extensive experience in multi-discipline design, working closely with structural, building services and project collaborators. Eric’s focus is on upgrading assets to maximise technical designs efficiently, achieving compliance to current best practice, codes/standards and sustainable solutions to deliver best design outcomes for his clients.
