Her Excellency Ms. Doris Brese
The High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to the Commonwealth of Australia, Ms. Doris Brese, is a career diplomat with almost thirty years of experience in Ghana’s diplomatic service.
High Commissioner Brese first joined Ghana’s diplomatic service in 1997 and rose through the ranks to become Ambassador in 2023 when she was appointed Ghana’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, and North Macedonia.
In November 2025, she was appointed Ghana’s High Commissioner to the Commonwealth of Australia by the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama and presented her Letters of Credence to the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Sam Mostyn AC, on 10th December 2025.
