Glen Pring
Glen Pring has a longstanding reputable track record in the industry, having experienced many facets and ranks in the construction sector over the past 34 years, as a Carpenter, Builder, Building Inspector and now specialising in building product investigation, research and manufacturing.
He has invested decades into forensically studying and analysing building requirements, such as the NCC (National Construction Code) in Australia, along with relevant Standards concerning internal linings, walls and ceilings. It’s with this deep understanding of legislated demands and expectations within internal linings, concerning wind, seismic, fire, sound, thermal and so on, along with an innate ability to filter through complexity, that has enabled Glen to discover significant flaws, risk and danger existing in systems used today. In recent years, Glen has partnered with subject matter experts of varying typologies, bringing awareness and collaborating to deliver solutions and propel the industry forward with ground-breaking advancements.
Glen is a member of the AWCI Technical Committee, with his interest being in requirements and expectations of the NCC and relevant AS/NZS Standards.
