Heimy Molina is a dynamic and trailblazing migrant engineer from the Philippines, currently making waves in the construction and renewables sectors. After graduating with First Class Honours and the University Medal in Civil Engineering from Western Sydney University in 2023, Heimy quickly made a name for herself in the industry. She currently serves as a Site Engineer at Gamuda, where she previously worked on the Western Tunnelling Package of the Sydney Metro West project. Now, she's transitioning into the growing renewables space, combining her expertise in engineering with a vision for a sustainable future.
In addition to her engineering career, Heimy is deeply committed to mentorship and advocacy. She is a Casual Engineering Academic at the University of Technology and serves as the Deputy Chair of Young Engineers Australia (Sydney Division), inspiring the next generation of engineers. Passionate about helping others succeed, she also runs her own career coaching business, Build Your Brand, where she empowers professionals to navigate their career journeys.
Heimy’s influence extends beyond her professional roles as she is the co-author of two best-selling books: Secrets of The Construction Industry and Evolution of Leadership in STEM: Women Catalyzing Change. Recognised as a rising star, she has been a finalist for the 7News Young Achiever Awards (2023, 2024, 2025), Engineers Australia Emerging Engineer of the Year (2023, 2024), and Women of Western Sydney (2024, 2025) awards. Her impact is also reflected in her media presence, with features in notable publications like the Sydney Morning Herald and in international advertisements for Western Sydney University.
A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusivity, Heimy speaks at universities, schools, podcasts, and panels, sharing her unique journey as both a migrant and a woman in a male-dominated field. Through her collective recognitions and platform, Heimy continues to champion female empowerment and inspire others to break barriers and pursue their passions.
