Henry Zhang is a senior infrastructure delivery professional with nearly 20 years of experience across major engineering and construction projects in Australia. He currently serves at Parklife Metro Consortium on the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project, overseeing rail infrastructure, systems integration and rolling stock delivery.

Over the course of his career, Henry has held roles across design management, construction delivery and project leadership with organisations including Sydney Water, Origin Energy and John Holland. His experience spans both the technical and commercial dimensions of major infrastructure delivery, with a particular interest in how engineering, contracting and governance frameworks interact to enable successful project outcomes.

Alongside his industry role, Henry mentors young engineers and runs professional development programs focused on communication, leadership and commercial intelligence. He is increasingly interested in how artificial intelligence will reshape the broader infrastructure ecosystem — from design and engineering to procurement, supply chains, project delivery and long-term asset operations — and how the next generation of engineers can harness AI to transform infrastructure projects in the AI era.
