Dr Hossein is Principal Manager at MCGC, with more than 19 years of professional and academic experience in geospatial data science, urban analytics and digital twin delivery. He holds a PhD in Information Systems and is a member of the Geospatial Council of Australia. Hossein leads the design and implementation of operational digital twin platforms for cities and developments, translating complex spatial data into decision-ready systems for planners, designers and asset managers. His work includes the development of the Plant Portal and a Digital DCP platform, as well as city-scale digital twins integrating GIS, BIM, aerial LiDAR and satellite remote sensing. His focus is on practical adoption, using digital twins to inform planning controls, infrastructure coordination, climate risk assessment and construction-stage decision-making.
