James Sherrard is the NSW Building Commissioner. He has worked in the construction industry for the past 30 years most recently spending three years with Transport for NSW.

Prior to this, James worked in the private sector as a consultant and project manager in the civic, residential and commercial sectors.

He has worked extensively overseas and is a qualified and experienced builder.
