James Wilkinson is a Principal in Jacobs’ Climate Response & ESG team, specialising in decarbonisation strategy, whole‑of‑life carbon management and climate resilience for complex infrastructure. With a background spanning engineering, sustainability, and project management, James advises government and industry on reducing carbon impacts across transport, water, energy, buildings, industrial sector and more.

James is recognised for translating complex carbon insights into practical solutions. His work has shaped national and state-level policies, tools and strategies for managing embodied carbon and he has led carbon management for some of Australia's largest infrastructure projects. James supports clients in navigating rapidly evolving climate policy, building organisational capability, and embedding decarbonisation into strategy and decision making.
