Jennifer Ferng

Jennifer Ferng is Associate Professor in Architecture at the University of Sydney. She directs the B.Des.Arch (honours) M.Arch degree program. Her design studios have addressed environmental concerns and sustainability across Australia and the Asia Pacific: climatic design in Southeast Asia, the decarbonization of heritage buildings in Sydney, extractive landscapes and the conservation of Aboriginal heritage. Her latest research considers cooling as a human right in Singapore's worker dormitories which will appear as part of a new international exhibition at Architekturmuseum der TUM (2026).
