Jessica Bichsel is a qualified carpenter whose career has taken her far beyond the traditional construction pathway. From residential renovations to film sets and feature productions, she has demonstrated how trade skills can open doors across diverse and creative industries.

As the first female apprentice in her workplace, Jessica not only mastered her craft but went on to establish her own business, earn industry recognition, and become a respected role model through her work as an Awesome Women in Construction (AWIC) ambassador.

Passionate about creating opportunities for others, Jessica actively mentors young women entering the industry and challenges outdated perceptions of construction careers. Her message is simple but powerful: construction doesn’t have to follow a set script — and there’s no limit to what you can build.
