Kate Leone is currently a Procurement Lead and Project Engineer at UGL across multiple Data Centre projects, and has worked previously as a Project Engineer and package lead for communication, electrical and comms systems from design to testing and commissioning and through DLP across major road and rail infrastructure projects in NSW and VIC. With a background in mechatronic engineering, Kate strives to bring new technologies and future skills to the industry. She was a recipient of the 2023 NAWIC Future Leader Scholarship and the 2024 Women in Industry Rising Star of the Year. Passionate about diversity, Kate serves on multiple women in construction committees and is an inaugural member of UGL's Gender Equity Action Plan working group.
