Kathy Bryla
With over 25 years of experience in architecture, Kathy is dedicated to delivering tailored solutions that promote excellence and sustainability in the built environment. Her work spans residential, educational, and corporate sectors, with a focus on creating circular, community-oriented outcomes.
Alongside her architectural practice, she consults to the AACA as the Accreditation Manager, overseeing the accreditation of architectural programs across Australia to maintain high educational standards. She also serves on the Design Review Panel for the Sutherland Shire Council and is member of the Union of International Architects (UIA). Both these roles support a commitment to design excellence for community architecture and housing, reflecting her belief that architecture should be sustainable, equitable, and enhance community well-being.
As an elected member of Lane Cove Council, she contributes to local strategies that balance growth with environmental responsibility and serves on several advisory committees . In 2025 Kathy was appointed as a Director on the Board of Local Government NSW (LGNSW) and also serves on the LGNSW Policy committee.
