Lauren graduated from the University of Sydney in 2017 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Structures) and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Indonesian Studies). She now works as a structural engineer at Northrop Consulting Engineers on various projects in the built environment including industrial estates, education facilities, government infrastructure and residential developments. Outside of her project work Lauren is a keen advocate for engineers in their early careers, volunteering as Chair on the Young Engineers Australia Committee for Sydney (YEAS). Lauren also co-chairs Northrop’s Materials Climate Action Committee to complement her interests in sustainability.
