Li is the Local Sector Manager for the Sydney Rail Team at SMEC Australia, where she leads the team in delivering high-quality outcomes across major rail projects. She is responsible for coordinating market group activities, shaping Market and State Business Plans, and providing strategic design and delivery insights.

In her leadership role, Li oversees a multidisciplinary team and works closely with National and State Sector Leads to drive performance, capability development, and a culture of excellence. She is committed to upholding SMEC’s values and fostering strong operational and technical performance across the local rail sector, with a focus on team development, business growth, client relationships, and project delivery.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Li is a highly accomplished Project Director and Project Manager. She has successfully led teams of design and project managers across a diverse portfolio of rail and infrastructure projects for major clients including Sydney Trains and Transport for NSW. Her depth of experience and collaborative leadership style continue to influence the successful delivery of complex transport programs in NSW.
