Lucy Sutton is an interior designer, strategist and industry leader in sustainable design in her role as Associate Director at Bates Smart. With over 19 years of architecture and interior design experience, she has led the interiors for numerous significant and award winning workplace, residential and education projects in Australia and abroad. Driven to challenge the status quo, Lucy is constantly seeking ways to create a better, more sustainable and socially conscious design and construction industry.  Lucy is part of Australian Architects Declare and actively collaborates across practices and disciplines to advocate for climate action in the building industry.  She is a co-founder and development team member of the Architects Declare Product Aware platform, an open source platform, designed to simplify sustainable product selection.
