2026 Ambassador Statement: My ethos in today’s evolving construction landscape is centered on empowerment through business literacy with a specific focus on social impact and female leadership. This mission is built on the foundation of "Economic Agency through Creativity." My leadership style and the initiatives I champion reflect a deep commitment to elevating women and marginalized voices through commercial visibility. I believe that true empowerment requires more than just a seat at the table. To rise in leadership within the Construction and Architecture/Design (A&D) sectors, women must master the procurement and technical aspects of the industry—the "hard data"—to command authority in boardroom negotiations. I also act as a mentor for younger female specifiers and procurement leads, guiding them through the complex technical requirements of the National Construction Code (NCC). My goal is to help them build professional confidence and excel within the historically male-dominated construction environment.by supporting women in construction we weave a thread of our own into a story of change, making a difference thru empowerment and support.
