Michael Parkinson
As an Engineer (UK), Michael developed manufacturing facilities and introduced better practice methodologies such as ‘Kaizen and Lean’ that materially improved technology use and productivity. Following the same theme of delivering notable returns, over the last 20 years he has focussed on transforming Supply Chain / Procurement team and commercial outcomes in large, global organisations touching a variety of industries. Today, whilst overseeing Procurement strategy within Transport for NSW - Infrastructure, Projects and Engineering, he enthusiastically balances this with practicing/coaching Lean Construction in project delivery - complemented by being a Board Director with Lean Construction ANZ. www.leanconstructionanz.org
